Imaginisce is HERE!

The Fed Ex guy showed up at my door today with boxes full of Imaginisce stamps and other goodies! I'm so excited, I can't wait to play. I've got them all listed in my store.

I love all the cute little snag 'em stamps that are only $1. There are fun summer ones with popsicles and ice cream cones and some "wild" animal stamps lions and tigers and panda bears, oh my! Plus many others, check them out.

My favorite thing that came is the Build-A-Card pad kit. It's a pad of 7"x10" patterned card stock that's already scored and comes with mats, stickers and envelopes. The photo doesn't do this kit justice.

My First Blooms!

I haven't actually been gardening yet, it's still too cold to plant my "crops". But here's a picture of my Bleeding Heart plant that I added to my landscape last summer. It wilted and died quickly after I put it in the ground but made quite a comeback this Spring! I'm so excited to to scrap some photos of it and use my Walk in My Garden cartridge (it has a bleeding heart cut on it).

A page for my Dad

Here's a page I made for my Dad's upcoming birthday. The journaling pretty much explains it all. For this page I used DCWV cardstock for the background, vellum for the journaling paper, I can't remember where the polka dot vellum came from, sorry. The wooden frame is from Chatterbox, the flower and leaves on the frame are Prima and there are 3 rhinestones in the center for the flower for some bling. I embossed the green photo mat with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. The donuts are stamped with my new Studio G "sweets" stamp and then I colored each one and embossed it with embossing powder so they would glisten like icing. I cut each one out and adhered it to the journaling block. The ribbon is Pebbles Inc. and the brads are Paper Studio. Both the title "My Dad" and the journaling are computer generated.

Here's a closer look at the journaling.

The Cuttlebug folder, Pebbles Inc. Ribbon, Chatterbox wood frame and the Prima leaves and and flower are all available in my store.

Double Embossed Challenge

I made this card for the Cuttlebug spot challenge #24 Emboss it Twice.

I first embossed the card with the Birds and Swirls folder and then embossed just the bottom inch with the Just My Type dotted border. (it's kinda hard to see in the photo) I used my Ranger perfect medium pen to add gold shimmer to all the embossed birds. Them I attached Prima Daisies that I dusted with Pebbles Inc. shimmer chalk for a little highlight. I added "sunflower" dew drops to the center of all the flowers. I cut the little tag with my sizlits mini tag die, inked the edges with gold ink and stamped the "thanks" sentiment. I attached a sheer ribbon and mounted it to the card with foam mounting squares.

The Cuttlebug folders, Prima flowers, Dew Drops and Pebbles Inc. chalks are all available in my web store.

The New Studio G stamps

I love the new Studio G "sweet" stamps. I just got my set yesterday and couldn't wait to start playing.
The background of the card is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I stamped two of the lollipops and then colored them with my Pebbles Inc. chalks. I sprayed them with workable fixative(so they won't smudge or run) and then coated them with some clear sparkly embossing powder. I cut the lollipops out and adhered them to the card with some foam mounting squares to give them some lift. I tied the little ribbon bows and glued them onto the "sticks of the lollipops. I stamped "You're Sweet" on a piece of card stock and cut out a sort of oval then inked the edges with my pink Studio G ink. I added two little brads and then attached it to the card with more adhesive foam squares. Last, I added a glittered scallop to the bottom with Stickles "punch" glitter. I've just been dying to use it on something so I figured, why not?
The Cuttlebug Swiss Dot folder and the Pebbles Inc. chalk are available in my web store.
