Layout for Dalenee

My new (and only) niece arrived a couple of weeks ago, actually 3 weeks early! I was already in the process of making a scrapbook page for the event, I just had to finish it sooner than I thought I would. I left off her photo for two reasons: 1, I didn't get permission to show her off on the internet for the whole world to potentially see and 2, I don't have the pictures developed yet:)

The details: I used American Crafts patterned card stock for the back ground, I cut out a flower from George (I think at 5")and added it to the bottom right corner, then I added a layer of white mulberry paper over the top of those (I tore the edges of the mulberry paper for the softer look) I cut the tag out of double sided card stock with George, one time regular and one time with the shadow feature. I added various stickers, ribbon and rub-ons to it. The photo mat is cut out of DCWV glitter stack and I just used my wavy edge cutting blade on my trimmer for that. The photo corners were just hand cut and embossed with my Cuttlebug Swiss dots folder, then attached with flower shaped brads. The title (Dalenee) is pre-cut alphabet letters that I stamped with a background stamp to give it more interest. The flowers are layered Primas with a rhinestone in the centers. The baby stats are on a 2" circle as the flower center (George again) then I glittered the edges with lavender stickles.

Finally, the "sweet baby girl" I made with alpha beads and some seed beads from my stash on pink wire then I attached it with two flower brads. Whew, that was a lot to type!
