Today is a very special day for me personally. One year ago today I had LASIK eye surgery and went from a prescription of -8 to perfect 20/20 vision!
Everything about my procedure has been wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone who is considering having it done.
Even after a year, I still catch myself sometimes reacting as though I'm wearing my glasses. (like when it's raining, I shield my eyes so I don't get spots all over my glasses LOL) After all, I did wear glasses for over 23 years!
Some of the recent joys of not wearing glasses that I have noticed are: going swimming with my girls this summer and not worrying about just jumping into the pool. I can ride my 4-wheeler and not fight wearing my glasses under my goggles. I can wear any cute pair of sunglasses I want ;)
But my most favorite thing so far about not wearing glasses is waking up in the morning with Lilee at the side of my bed and I can see her!
I have been a Disney addict for many years. I want share how there's a little bit of Disney in my everyday life and I will also share my BIG Disney side, my Disney World trips and my planning tips.

don't know why I haven't done it yet... oh yeah, I'm such a chicken! I really need to. It sounds like once I do I'll be kicking myself for not doing it sooner :( I don't wear glasses, I wear contacts, but it's still a pain. So happy for ya :)
